Invader Zim Fan-Fic (Untitled WIP)

The tallest sat in their armada ship, enjoying a bag of delicious snacks, when the transceiver rang. Purple's antennae perked up at the sound. "Did you hear that, brother? That ring, we haven't heard it in so long..." Red opened a lazy eye, and listened to the ring. "It can't be. He hasn't made a report in, well, years." Purple waved a finger. "7, to be precise. Should we answer it?" Red shrugged. "I don't see why not. If he succeeded, great, and if he didn't, well, we didn't even want the planet anyways... Besides, he's always good for a laugh."

The screen flickered on, and the Tallest's eyes widened in terror. A familiar voice came from the screen, only a smidgen deeper than before. "Greetings, my Irken brothers. I have some very interesting news to report. I think the earth air has affected my body somehow, wouldn't you agree?" The voice chuckled, while the Tallest merely stammered. "I-it can't be. You were so... Now you're..." The voice laughed again. "I agree my Tallest. Or should I say, Near-tallest..." The voice belonged to an Invader named Zim, who now stood 6'2" tall, while the Former Tallest only stood at 5'8." Zim laughed. "After I am done with this planet, I shall return to the armada, and claim my throne as The Almighty Tallest. Toodles." Zim smiled with glee, and moved his fingers in a farewell. Then a strange looking SIR unit, this moder called GIR, called "MEOW!!" before the feed was cut.

"Red, what do we do?" Purple asked, worried. Red narrowed his eyes. "Tell everyone in the fleet that thy will receive no more transmissions from earth. We will isolate the bastard. If he is anything like we knew him before, it will take him ages to conquer Earth, if ever. We just can't let anyone know he is taller than us..."

Meanwhile, in the life of the now teenage Dib and Gaz... They were riding on the Skool bus, on their first day. "So, oh dear brother of mine. What is High skool like?" Gaz was reading a book, a nice sight to see that she was away from her precious Game Slave. "Well, homework's a bitch, and the teachers are boring. And if you ask me, there are way too many preps and emos running around." Dib looked out the window, thinking about life. Being a paranormal investigator probably didn't pay well, so Dib was actually thinking of taking over the family business.

Dib grew into his head, and was now quite handsome, believe it or not. He calmed down a bit so he doesn't ramble on about his paranormal beliefs to those who don't listen. He's in the 11th grade. Gaz filled out. She became quite pretty, while most predicted that she would be a scrawny little thing. Personality wise though, she hasn't changed much. The only major difference is that she came to respect her brother a bit more. "You still hang out with Zim?" Gaz asked, to try to spark a conversation with her brother. "Nah, the green bastard doesn't come out of his house nowadays..."

That was when a creeping sound came from the seat behind them. "Oh, why Dib, I've been busy, like an other human worm child..." Dib's eyes popped open, as he turned around, to see Zim, in his disguise, smiling at him arrogantly...

Four comments. Only four comments. WHERE'RE THE REST?! Jeez, people nowadays! *Jumps up and down* Y'know, that little story just made my day... although I was a little bummed to hear it's not finished.... I vote for a finished piece! Great work on the writing, too, by the way.
