This was one my male form, but I've decided to give him a name and make him a totaly separate character. His name is Saraneth, derived from one of my favorite trilogies by Garth Nix. It begins with Sabriel, then to Lirael, and then Abhorsen, basically about a necromancer bound by the Charter, the whole lightened and good magic. The necromancers and Abhorsen weild bells to command the dead.
The bells are Ranna, the sleeper, Mosrael, the waker, Kibeth, the walker, Dyrim, the speaker, Belgaer, the thinker, Saraneth, the binder, and Astarael, the weeper.

Considering the white pup's past, which you have no inkling about but will probably find out eventually, I think the name Saraneth is fitting.
