This is a huge charcoal (26" x 28") drawing of my first rabbit, Blackberry. Thanksgiving, 2001. I finished this drawing 2 weeks before she died of old age (and possibly a mouse infestation contaminating her food, but we didn't discover the mice until after her death). I still really miss the little sweetie. ;.; This drawing hangs framed in my room now.
In art class, I drew this and a wood lily on 2 separate pieces of paper, and presented them in this fashion for the class for a critique. My teacher suggested I try to redraw my rabbit in front of the wood lily on one piece of paper, but that weekend she died, and I was in no shape to draw.
Rest in Peace, Berry...

She loved the park, all the kids petting her, even the kid trying to make her eat a stick, being hypontized on her back, but wasn't super active. She just ran to get somewhere with clovers, and then sat down to enjoy where she was and graze, not running for the sheer fun of it. Great lap bunny, but she got kinda round as you can see, and as chronic problems with going to the bathroom and urine scalded fur for about 3 years, and became lame in one forelimb in her decling years.
I still miss you, Berry... 
She lived to be eight, and then passed away in my arms one morning before Christmas in 2001.
