Chapter One

"Sere!"

Serena's eyes opened. Bright orange-red eyes stared straight into her own blue eyes. She did the only thing she could...scream.

"YAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Serena grabbed a near by pillow and slammed it into the creature perched on her stomach.

"Luna!" Serena cried angrily. "Don't ever scare me like that!"

Luna, Serena's talking black cat guardian pushed the pillow off and glared at the blonde. "Sere," the cat snapped. "I was trying to wake you up."

"You don't wake pregnant women up by shoving your face at them Geez!" Serena let out a breath and brushed a damp strand of hair from her face. "And you say I don't have any manners, it's not exactly pleasant to wake up to a pushy cat sitting on your stomach."

Luna scowled. "Well forgive me for trying to help. It sounded like you were having a nightmare."

Serena sweat dropped and looked at the floor. It had been tough for her to remain happy when she rarely saw her boy friend Kazuya. He was always busy working on his robotics projects or gone.

"IT wasn't a nightmare," Serena said. "I was just dreaming about...Kazuya..."

"Sere," Luna murmured. "You don't have to be upset about Kazuya."

"I am not upset about him!" Serena said. "That is a stupid idea because I know in my heart that he would never do anything to hurt me, I'll prove mom and dad wrong about him."

"If you say so Sere." Luna said.

Serena walked down the street after school, she hadn't been able to run home like she used to since her stomach had grown bigger. But something made her slide to a stop when she saw the most horrible sight.

"That was Kazuya and May...." Serena said feeling tears gush down her cheeks. "He loves her more than me!"

She threw her school bag to the ground and ran off in the opposite direction crying.

Serena ran into a small side alley and leaned against the brick wall. She buried her face in her hands as she cried.

She wanted to have a perfect family, but now it was ruined, she thought Kazuya loved her but it was all lies. Here she was crying in some alley without anyone in the world.

Serena sniffled and started crying harder. She was heartbroken. Serena vowed to never trust a guy again.

"Meatball Head!"

Serena froze. Her tears immediately stopped as she slowly looked up. She turned bright Pink as her eyes met two dark blue ones. It was Darien Chiba, her worse enemy - she didn't understand why Raye liked him so much, he took pleasure in teasing High school students.
Oh my god... Serena thought as she quickly turned her face. Did that jerk see me cry?

"You dropped your school bag," Darien said handing her the school bag. "I saw you crying, is there something wrong?"

Serena ignored the beating of her heart. "I'm fine Chiba!" she lied. "I don't need you to tease me about being a cry baby!"

Darien looked at Serena. He had to admit that no matter how much he teased Serena. He loved her a lot, and wished that she loved him back. "Ok, then if you're not upset Meatball head I'll see ya around," he said walking off.

Serena glared at him. "Don't ever call me 'Meatball Head' again you prick!" she screamed.

Serena sighed as she looked out the window of her room. She still had to tell her parents about the baby, but she knew that her father was going to freak out and probably throw a fit.

"It's now or never..." Serena said as she stood up and walked down stairs. In the living room her mother, father, and little brother were all watching the TV show, Seventh heaven.

"Serena you're just in time," Ikuko said smiling. "Your favorite show is almost on."

Serena took in a breath and sighed. "Mom, and Dad I have something to tell you but promise me that you won't hate me for it."

"Serena what is it?" Kenji asked looking at his daughter.

"Mom and Dad I'm pregnant," Serena said as she started to cry softly. "I was so stupid for allowing this to happen."

"What?" Serena's little brother Sammy laughed and dropped the bowl of pop corn he was holding. "You're kidding right?!"

Serena scowled. "I am not kidding!" she cried in anger. "What is so funny?"

Sammy gave her a wicked smile. "How could you possibly carry a baby in that belly of yours?" he said. "You're a klutz not to mention that your grades aren't exactly good, so it might inherit your habits of failing."

Serena threw a pillow at Sammy. "Shut up I will not!" she cried. "Mom and Dad please say something!"

Ikuko stood up and looked at Serena with tears in her eyes. "Serena, you're all grown up..."she said softly. "I can't believe this has happened."

"Serenity Alexandria Tsukino you have disgraced this family!" Kenji said as he stood up. "I want you out of this house now!"

"Dad you can't be serious!" Serena cried. "I have no place to go and no money!"

"You should've thought of that when you opened your legs for that boyfriend of yours!" Kenji said. "It is your decision and you have to live with it! Your mother and I will not have any part of this!"

Serena started to feel tears come to her eyes as she looked at the floor and she laid her hand over the mound of her stomach. She couldn't believe that her father would say such cruel things.

"Fine then, I don't give a damn whether you want to help me or not, but I am going to welcome this child with open arms!" Serena screamed as she stormed up the stairs to pack her things.

Serena walked down the streets of Tokyo carrying her suitcases. She had got odd stares from the people passing by.

"I don't need my family to help me," Serena muttered as she stopped in front of the arcade. "Maybe Andrew can help me out, but then again he' won't look at me the same way again..."

"Hey Meatball head!" Darien said as he popped up behind her and smiled. "What are you doing running away?"

Serena glared at him. "Leave me alone, Chiba!" She said as she walked off towards the Cherry Hill temple. She was sure that her friends would help her out by letting her stay with them

"You think I'm going to let you stay here?" Raye asked as she looked at Serena. "It is your fault that you had sex with Kazuya in the first place!"

Serena gasped. "Raye you're supposed to be my friend!" she said holding back tears then she focused her teary blue eyes on the others.

"I'm sorry but my mother told me not to ever speak to you again," Amy said as she closed her book. "She says that you're a bad influence."

"My mother says she doesn't want me to hang out with a knocked up slut." Mina said as she looked at the ground.

"I can't have a friend like you," Lita said. "You got pregnant by a guy who sleeps around, that causes a bad reputation."

Serena started to cry softly again as she heard what her friends told her. She couldn't believe that they would actually be this way.

"Oh look she's going to cry," Raye said as she came closer to Serena pulling her pigtail. "Go ahead and cry you meatball head!"

Serena couldn't take it anymore she looked up at the scouts with teary eyes and focused a glare at them. "You know what I don't' really need your help for a damn thing!" She screamed. "I quit being Sailor Moon!"

With that Serena threw her brooch to the ground and it shattered to a million pieces on the ground as Serena ran off.

Serena ran all the way to the other side of Tokyo, she looked up at the familiar apartment building and saw that Darien was coming towards her.

"Meatball head?" Darien said as his eyes took a serious look. "What's wrong? What happened?"

Serena couldn't take it anymore she did the only thing that she could, she cried.
