Simple in design and complex in detail, "Untitled NS Series No. 2" is a wonderfully tranquil acrylic piece. The little boat waiting at the end of a dock, in its hazy olive setting and sharp silhouette, reminds me of afternoon fishing with my granddad and the endless possibilities a childhood summer held. Paintings like this are a rare treat and worth the time to reflect on yourself.

Wow. That's pretty cool looking.
My favorite part is the solitude of it. The reflection in the water is well done and the feeling conveyed is pretty cool.
I just get a feeling when I look at this piece like...looking forward or wanting to go somewhere, like restlessness.
Nicely done.

Amazing. I'm loving this series.

this looks more like the early sketching stages of drawing a composition; than a finished oil painting. And why did Greebear call it an acrylic? The color is very strange, sort of a sickly pea-green soup. I'd work a little more on your composition.

Congrats on the Featured Art!

I like how only a few lines from the water show up...it gives it a very creepy feeling.
Now I have to admit I'm not the biggest fan of that color, but then again I generally don't like ANYTHING that's olive-green, yellow, brown, or orange or anything like that, so oh well. Can't win 'em all.

Featured Art, horray!
I absolutely love this. Great choice of color and composition. I never liked things in the middle anyway.
