Oh, look. My first drawing of the new year.
Wanna know why I haven't posted? I took an extended vacation in California after the New Year. And of course, that left me w/o scanner access. For 3 weeks!
Moving on...
My half of an art trade with
. It normally wouldn't take me that long to finish an art trade for anyone. But, as I said, I had no scanner access. And I also didn't have my coloring tools with me either, so the sketches I've done were left alone until I got home.
He wanted Slur lying down. Even though I don't believe she's "female" (I personally think she's the Serenade of the Stream series, a being who transcends gender), I did draw her with a curvy body, and put some lipstick on her for some reason. I kinda like it, even though she's an evil biznatch who beat Forte the first time.

...Ahem. Dayam I really like the way this turned out, that pose of hers and her expression looks so cute and I like that green lipstick, it gives her a sort of edgy and feisty look or something.

The weirdest thing, when I first saw the preview thumbnail I thought it was a pokemon navi.
She looks so much like this one psychic pokemon, or maybe it's just her color scheme.

Ya' ever see someone completely and totally relaxed, but they still have that one mischevious eye that follows you around the room while you're doing things? That's about the best way I can explain what I think of the pose. Nice work.
And it's official. White backgrounds are really pillows, marshmallows and/or clouds. Good to see your art again.
