Undine

Sorry i've been away so long! Ever since exams ended last year, i've been running around all over the place trying to get a job, my drivers license, some money for next year, etc. It's been crazy.

This picture is a "representation" of the water spirit Undine from the RPG "Secret Of Mana". I got the idea from a friend when I asked her for something interesting to draw. Kudos to her.

Words cannot describe how many new things and styles I tried before I came up with this. I actually re-did the picture 8 times, on each attempt trying out things a little differently (ways of drawing hair, hands, basic anatomy). I was also going to colour it, but all the attempts thus far have been useless. That's not to say I haven't learned a lot from them however, I just didn't like how they looked compared to the original line art.

Oh, and feel free to take it and colour it if you really want. It would be awesome to get some pointers/ideas from the people kicking around here.

Sorry I only have the one picture to upload. I had some Slightly Damned fan art (A great webcomic. Google it.) and a few more random beasties in the works, but none of them are at the level where i'd like to post them on the net.
