Lie

They said put a shell up to your ear,
The ocean is what you'll hear
But they lied.

They said santa claus is real,
The reindeer have nothing to conceal
But they lied.

They said being different was a sin
The crowd must always fashionably be "in"
But they lied.

Its the blood rushing through veins in your ears that echoe.

He's only a figure made up by the Christian religon to attract the hearts of children.

Its just a rule media created to outcast the truely unique individuals.

hm. so how are ya'll. i been makin some more poems lately for "The arts" club in school, since people seem to love them where i live xD this one i made while it was snowing during algebra, and blah blah

why do people have to be jealous? why do a few of them have to diss my art work and poetry only because theyre envious? i dont care, it just ticks me off sometimes that a few select people hate me only because i love art and writing. but other than that i have a good flock of friends.

Too short. There wasn't a lot of rhyming to it at all. A poem should be longer.

Poetry can be short though and still be beautiful. I just think this one could have stood to be longer and could have presented more points (about the lies). It seems to go too fast. I do like the form though, telling he lie and then the solution... but I think it could have sttod to be in order as opposed to telling the all of the lies and then all of the solutions.
