Nice job on the mane ^^ Heh I`m not so good at RM either, but I think you did a wonderfull job on this. Maybe next time you could give the mane and the tail a bit more hightlights, maybe with an eraser?
Anyway, I really love the whole piece, awesome pose and they grey gives a mysterious feel ^^ Awesome! *favs* ^^
