Another older WIP that I decided to finish; no idea how long this took as I began it a few months ago and didn't do anything with it for a while. My first photomanipulation using Marilyn Manson as the base photo (which is actually more a painting given the terrible quality of the photo). 'Tis my character Satsu, dashing isn't he? All of the painting was done in Photoshop 7.

awesome job except... the ear seems oddly placed. it must just be the hair though cuz it in the right place according to the Manson photo... so yeah nevermind

It's amazing, though--it looks more like one of your Photoshop paintings than a photomanip; that's something I've never seen before.

The purple hair makes it look a little debauched, and the hat gives a Venetian impression to me. Intersting nuances in this picture. Overall, I'd say it's either a medieval italian assassin or a slightly effeminate demon lord

Oh yes. This is looking very much more finished than the WIP you'd shown me. It still looks like Manny, but it's got a definite Satsu quality to it as well. I think the red background really kicks it off--not just because I'm a red fanatic, I assure you!--and I really like the buttons on the sleeve. Very stylish.
