This is an old picture I actually drew last year for Gaaras birthday.. but I never colored it.
I outlined the sketch with the pen tool in photoshop, took the paths to illustrator, tweaked a few things then exported the lineart back to photoshop, then colored it in. I did originally try to outline and color it with photoshop but totally hated that first try.
