This is my first true "speed painting" and quite frankly, It's not all that bad. Perhaps not as detailed as I hoped it would be, but pretty good as a first attempt.
I'm not quite sure what exactly I painted, but it looks more like a cross between a mech and master chief's battle suit. (You can faintly see the guy's face behind the orange visor.)

EDIT: now that i'm looking at this again, a lot of it is out of proportion...huh. maybe this was too much of a speed painting.
I should slow down..
EDIT2: completely redid the background, also straightened the character - in the previous version, the guy looked like he was keeling over under the weight of the armor >_>
