Mansion of Misty Falls
Mansion of Misty Falls
In a town shadowed by lies and decetes, lies the deep and dark truth of the very past that once roamed this once lively town. People were close to the towns little secrets, and kept it close at heart. These never left the gates that surrounded the very towns perimeter, and the people never left with them.
To get a better understanding of my story, we must go back ten years ago, when the town was once named Misty Falls, in the streets of St.Branz where ontop of a hill the Misty Manor towered above every thing, scattering shadows across the land like a veil. The Manor was worn away, tangles of weeds scaled the thick pillars that held up the balcony above the main entrance. The boards where warped on the deck and stair case on the front porch. The shudders swung unhindered in the wind, crashing against the cracked stone walls. The chimney slightly angled let out howls of screams that ammited from the Manor within. Glass shattered, and boards ripped up from the fasteners that held them down.
The Manor itself was not enough to bring fear into the hearts of those who lived within only a few blocks of it, but it was also who owned the Manor.
The Manor was owned by a preist that went by the name of Father Lanley, or also as Herbert Lanley. The minister was also known as "Diablo" or "Satans Helper" for he commited a crime most severe that it sent chills down the spines of those who read the paper of the following day of that very incindent that occured on Halloween.
The head lines of Novembers paper read "Satanic Minister Sacrafices Children"
The following day I remember well, it still haunts me in my wake. It was a dreary afternoon as people gather in the town square as Herbert Lanley was placed upon his stake of demise. He was cackling as they set the wood below him on fire. His face lit up with a bright errie light that danced upon his skin, reflecting sweat that dripped off his face. His eye's bulged from his skull, veins popping, and pupils dilated.
I looked down at my brother who was trembling with fear as the voices of the families screamed "Let you flesh burn for all your evil deeds!"
I was not afraid until those words from Lanley's mouth admitted as he was engulfed in the flames "You shall regret this! Oh you shall!" It wasn't what he had said that had frightend me, just the tone of his voice as he said it. The sound was high pitched, mixed with his cackles.
As it all came to an end, I told my brother that there was nothing he needed to worry about...
That was until five years later when reports of several incindents involving the Manor and a peculiar someone. That's when I told my brother that we were going to go in the Manor, we were going to roam the belly of the beast...This is were it all began.
Chapter One:Eddie Dean
The sound of an alarm filled Eddie's room with noise, waking him up from his deep sleep.
A ray of light shined through the small openings of his blinds, revealing air born dust in the air.
He stretched his arms, and rubbed his eyes as he sat up in his single bed. Eddie gave a low, deep yawn, and began to smack his lips.
Looking over to his left, he stared at his calender and jumped out of bed.
Eddie was five foot six, shaggy brown hair, mid neck length, he had a chiseled face, hazel eyes, and a strong upper body.
He wore his scooby doo boxers at the moment as he got out of his bed, dashing to the calender.
His eyes opened wide as he gazed with suprise to what the date was.
"How could I forget that tonights Halloween!" He placed his finger tips together and chuckled "Time to create havoc in the town."
Eddie ran over to his dresser wich sat in the corner of his blue painted room.
The dresser was made of solid oak, and stood five feet tall and three feet wide.
His room of course was occupied with night tables and shelves that held odd possesions, ones that were unfamilar to the everyday person. Things like a Jackals skull, dark robes that hung up on hooks around the walls, and posters of demons and naked girls who arched their backs on rock and things.
But the most occward thing was the small black box lined with gold trim. It was no ordinary box, for there was a story behind this object, a story of betrayal.
Eddie had a freind named Zackary O'Conory. They went to the same school, and created havoc through the towns parks and alleys. Zackary was one year older the Eddie, and just lived two blocks away.
Zackary was five foot ten, shoulder length black hair, tanned skin, a slim face, grey eyes, and wore black clothes.
One day Zackary told Eddie, with astonishment, about a key he had found at the quarry just on the outskirts of town.
He held out his palm, in which he held a rusted skeleton key.
"This is the key to Herbert's Manor!" This was said with exileration.
Eddie was stunned with silence as though he were put under some sort of trance.
This was broken by Zackary's voice "Just imagine what is inside that Manor Eddie!"
Eddie looked up at Zackary with squinted eyes, he was trying to hide his fear. "Imagine? How can I imagine when I can hear the screams of Herbert Lanley ringing through my head!? All I can see is that fool on the stake of fire!"
Zackary clenched his hand and brought it towards his body and gave a smile "Scared aren't ya' Eddie ol'boy?" Zackary gave him a small rub on the head, messing up his hair.
Eddie pushed away Zackary's hand "Scared! Ha! What's there to be scared of?" This brought up Eddies courage to say "Why don't we see that house on Halloween, the time of the murders."
"Now now Eddie, don't get crazy."
"Naw just fooling with ya head."
"Well I guess we will be seeing it one day won't we?"
"I guess so"
"Well I really need to be heading off, got a movie to catch with the girl. See ya tommorow Edster!"
Eddie waved his two fingered wave and turend around, but he was frozen in his foot steps when he heard the screams of Zackary.
He turned around to see his freind lying on the ground in a puddle of blood.
His first reaction was to aid his freind.
"Zack!" With great haste he knelt down by his side, looked at his blank eyes, and saw something horrible.
There were burn marks all over his face, and his legs were severed from his waist.
Eddie got up and backed away as he gagged at the smell of his freinds corpse.
In shock and bewilderment he began to turn around in circles than paused for a moment and said to himself "The key..."
Bending down he forced opened Zackary's hand and grasped a hold of the key, he gazed at it as he caressed the notches.
Eddie got up and turned around to head down the street towards his place, but took a turn toward the Manor...
Chapter Two:Henry Dean
There he sat on the couch, with remote in hand, staring blankly at the screen infront of him.
The living room was a small squared room paneled with hardwood pine. On the walls hanged the several pictures of family potraits. A wide screen T.V. sat on a shelf with large speakers on each side.
Henry had shaggy black hair, tanned skin, a nicely formed faced, poited nose, green eyes, stood five ten, and wore tattered clothes.
He looked to his right as the families cat "You Cat" jumped up onto the couch and began to claw away at the leather.
There was a reason to why they called the cat by the name it has. You Cat was a very untamed animal, always would piss and shit on the floor and attack its owners as they turned the corners.
Every time that one of these cats dirty deeds happened, someone would say "You Fucking Cat!"
Henry began to knot You Cats hair, and You Cat hissed and knawed at Henrys hand at this.
"Fucking Cat!" Henry threw the cat on the floor and kicked it, sending it flying across the room. "Teaches ya right for making my hand into a snack!"
Henry was a short tempered teen, who often took out his stress with drugs and booze. Not to mention on others too.
Henry got up and scratched his chewed up hand and cursed under his breath.
As he walked towards the door way, his little brother Eddie bumped into him "Watch it twirp!" "Sorry Henry!"
Henry looked at his brother with peircing eyes and directed his attention to what was grasped in his hands. "Whats that you got there!? Another one of you sissy carved out boxes?" He laughed at this and went to grab the box out of Eddie's hands, but Eddie drew the box in closer to his body and shook his head.
"No it is no box I created. This box I bought at the black magic shop."
Henry snorted and grinned "What now? You going to become a magician!?" He hollered at this and grasped on his knees as he tried to catch his breath.
"If you really need to know brother; it contains the key to the Blackened Manor."
Henry arched up and stared at his brother with disturbance "What are you planning to do with it?"
Eddie took a deep breath and remembered what happened to his freind and said in a low voice "I am burying it..."
Henry knocked the box out of his brother's hands and picked it up. "Imagine what this key will show us Eddie!" He opened the box and took the rusty key out and held it into the air, examining it.
Henry looked at his brother with a wide grin on his face that gave Eddie the chills at to what he was thinking "Today's Halloween ain't it twirp!?"
Eddie looked down at his white and red nikes and nodded "It sure is..."
Henry's grin turned into a smirk "Tonight we are not going to create havoc and break into the Principles house so we can write on his walls. Tonight we shall open the door to that Manor."
"That's not a great idea." "Not a great idea!? What are you Eddie? A fucking pansy!?" Henry pushed Eddie to the ground and grabbed a hold of his collar and sneered "So what do you say brother of mine?" Eddie twitched as his brother's spit splattered onto his face and nodded "What ever brother, we will go there tonight..." "Thats what I thought!"
He let go of Eddie and got up "Well schools already started ten minutes ago, you'd better get going to your crafts class to finish making that piss pot of yours." Henry grab Eddie by the shoulder and heaved him up.
Eddie looked at Henry with confusion "Where are you going?" Henry gave Eddie his evil eye's "None of your buisness. Now get going!"
As the door slammed Henry looked at his brothers wallet and laughed "Good ol' brother of mine to donate some money to me."
Henry went into the hallways closet and took out his black leather jacket and headed out the door.
As he walked down his street, Henry looked from side to side as people ran towards school trying to avoid any eye contact with him.
A kid bumped into him, and Henry shoved him "Watch were ya' going kid or I will have yo' head for a mantel piece!"
The kid scurried up and ran away with great haste.
Henry laughed as he watched the kid run away in fear, and took out a joint and lit it. "Fucking kids getting clumsier now a days." He puffed a big cloud of smoke and continued to walk on towards an alley the lead off into the slums.
As he approached the alley way, two large man walked out from the darkness. They were both built, one was five foot six and the other six feet. They were both bald and wore black suits and glasses. "Well well well, if it isn't our good friend Henry Dean." One of the man said with pleasure in his voice. The other one smiled as he took out a three foot metal pole and began to beat the pad of his palm with it "You know Henry, we don't like it when fuckers like you take people like us for chumps."
Henry laughed and shot a wad of spit onto one of their shoes "You are chumps!"
They approached Henry with caution, for Henry always was equipped with some sort of weapon. Once he beat some twenty year old up with a blunt rock for calling him a square.
"You guys make me laugh! What kind of low lifes walk down the slums in suits and ties!?"
They both looked at eachother and laughed "This time you won't be getting away from us." They dashed towards him with their batons out behind their backs.
Henry shoved his hand into his jacket and pulled out a hunting knife "So this is how it's going to go down?" He jumped back as one of them took a swing, and leaped forward to stab the guy in the shoulder. "You guys are all the same!"
Henry was smacked in the head, and felt a shock go down his spine "Not all of us Henry!" The guy bent over and seized a hold of Henry's collar and the other knocked the hunting knife out of his hand by a swift boot.
He heaved Henry up and threw him into a wall. "Now are you going to behave and be a good citizen? Or are we going to have to force the goods out of you?"
Henry chuckled and spat in the guys face "A citizen!? You think I will take orders from you guys?"
The guy that was holding him knocked him in the face with his fist, causing Henry's nose to break. Blood splattered onto his face and glasses, also the ground and wall. "You'd better be taking orders from us dirt bag! Or you will be seeing you dear ol' father sooner than ya think!"
Henry looked out of the corner of his eye and gave a smile.
"What are you smiling at maggot!?" "Nothing really, just the guy who knocked out your partner just now."
He turned around, and was hit over the head with a wooden bat. "Fucking pricks..." He fell over and smashed his head on a dumpster next to him causing blood to spill down the side of his face.
"Just in time Drake."
Drake was Henry's junkie buddy. He stood five foot eight, long greasy blonde hair, smokey grey eyes, pale skin, and wore a trench coat and denims. "I was just taking a trip to the dealer when I saw you were in dire need of some help." "It sure was a good thing you were planning on getting drugs than!" Henry walked away from the wall and looked at his crushed joint that lay on the ground "Oh fuck! The stupid prick knocked my joint out of my mouth!"
Drake opened his trench coat, and Henry hollered "You could be starting your own buisness there buddy!" His trench coat was full of drugs and weapons.
"Keep em' on me for emergancies." Drake pulled out a big fat joint and shoved it in Henry's mouth.
Henry pulled out his zippo and lit the end of the joint and took a big inhale and exhaled a big puff of smoke "That is some good shit."
"So what did the Greys want?" "They wanted my drugs man." "Again? Jeez when will they give you a break?" "Too many of them to get a break."
Henry reached the gates of the school yard, and looked at Drake "Well I might as well get going, I have Bio next, and I don't want to miss a good look at Ms.Shanna's jugs!" "Man she can feed a third world country with those!" Henry took the last puff of his joint and threw it on the ground "Hell ya!" "Well be seeing ya later man!" "Ya peace out!"
Henry began to walk away, when he felt his heart begin to beat like a drum. He shoved his hand into his jacket and pulled out the key, and noticed it wasn't his heart that was beating, but it was the key itself that was emitting the noise.
Chapter 3: The Message
Henry walked down the empty halls of his school in silence wich was soon broke by voices emitting from a room next to him.
"Today class we shall draw nature in its fullest form! We shall draw the female body!"
Henry's interest perked up, and he headed towards the blue wooden door and looked through the small square window.
His eye's widend as he stared at the asain female on the pedestal. She was a fine figure indeed. She stood five foot six, long silky black hair that reached the mid point of her back, and she wore a kimono with spring flowers painted on it.
"Well hello beautiful"
She took off the strap on her kimono and slowly took it off to reveal her left breast.
"Woh!"
She jumped and shreiked as she saw Henry peering in at her, and she threw her kimono back on and began to sceam at the teacher.
"Oh shit this can't be good..."
The door swung open knocking him back just the slightest.
"Well what pleasure do we owe you Mr.Dean?"
The teacher went by the name of Ms.Clay, she was an old teacher and well known for her artistic skills in pottery. She had frizzy grey hair, pale blue eyes, her face was riddled with wrinkles and skin with sunspots. She wore half moon glasses and a baggy gown that was tie dyed a ranibow colour.
"I wanted to be one with nature Ms.Clay." "Shut your trap Mr.Dean and stop with the funny!"
Henry closed his mouth and grinned as he looked over the teachers shoulder to notice that his brother attended that class.
"What is so interesting that you have to ignore me Mr.Dean!?"
Henry directed his attention back to the teacher and shrugged his shoulders "I just thought I saw the beautiful figure on that pedestal checking me out."
The asian turned her head away from Henry and pouted.
"Stop bothering Ms.Lee and listen to me!"
Henry shuttered a bit and took another quick look over the teachers shoulder to see Ms.Lee taking a seat in Ms.Clay's wooden swivel chair.
"So why are you wandering the halls when you should be in class?" "I told you already, I wanted to be one with nature."
The teacher smacked Henry in the head, making him a human bobble head.
Than she paused and grabbed a hold of his shoulder and placed her nose on it. "I smell weed Mr.Dean!"
He swallowed guilt and stared at her with squinted eyes "Weed?" "Yes weed Mr.Dean, its what gets you high!"
He could hear his brother laughing as the teacher said "So your telling me you just felt like taking a stroll to my class room to be one with nature, and had the brightest idea about smoking some weed while you were at it?!" "Who said I was smoking it outside of your door you fucking battle axe!"
Ms.Clay let out a gasp and grasped a hold of Henry's shoulder "I am taking you to Mr.Peacock!" "Woh now don't get your wrinkles in a bundle there."
"Sit down!"
Henry took a seat infront of a desk and looked around the square room which was filled with pictures of Mr.Peacocks family. "Wait here, Mr.Peacock is dealing with other issues at the current moment."
He immitated her as she talked, than as she slammed the door he said "Hope you die of a fucking heart attack!"
Henry got up and walked towards the window.
He could see miles from the office, for the school had three floors.
Henry looked down and saw the Canadian flag below him, it was half mast, wich was odd to him "No one died..."
The door opened and Mr.Peacock walked in.
He was a stout man, use to serve in the army back in his days. Now he is just a principal. The guy was niggro, six foot five, had salt and pepper hair, wrinkles on his cheek bones, his eyes were surely aged, the colour was worn away in them. He wore a brown suit to make himself look like a fashionable monkey.
"So why are you in here Mr.Dean?"
Henry smiled and bowed his head "Teacher said she didn't want me participating in being one with nature."
Mr.Peacock laughed at this and opened his desk draw and pulled out a mint jar. "Mint?" Henry waved his hand and Mr.Peacock took a mint for himself and shoved the jar back in his desk.
"Now I know you all too well Henry. There must be another reason you were sent to my office." He began to suck and chew on the mint, he sounded like a cow chewing on cud.
Henry hesitated to give the real answer, and was afraid to give it too. He didn't want to be ransacked, but he told him anyways "The battle axe thought I was carrying weed."
Mr.Peacock got out of his chair and looked Henry in the eye's as though he was trying to tap into his mind.
"Well you know the drill. Empty all your pockets."
Henry began to empty his pockets and place the items on the table. Nope no weed, only a wad of cash (one hundered dollars to be exact) chewing gum, a note, a lighter, his hunting knife and the skeleton key.
"Well no weed here, so I guess your visit was pointless." But just than did he let out a gasp and jump backwards. "How did you get that key boy!?"
Henry looked down at the skeleton key than at the vice principal who was shaking, and also sweating like a pig. "Stole it from my brother. He said he found it at a quary."
"But that's impossible! Me and my man buryied that thing ten years ago!"
He clasped his hands on his ears and raised his head "I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR DEATH!"
Henry leaped out of his chair and fell on the floor "Are you all right Mr.Peacock?"
Tears began to run down his face, but they weren't tears, it was blood pouring from his eyes. "I SWEAR IT I WAS NOT INVOLVED!" His screams were sufficated by a chocking noise, and he backed up into the window.
Henry scurried up, and noticed that the glass began to crack down the center. "MR.PEACOCK!"
The glass shattered and the vice principal lost his balance and fell out of the window.
Henry ran towards the window to see that he was impaled on the flag pole, his hands still clasped to his head. The scary part was that he was still screaming
"I WASN'T INVOLVED!"
Henry hurried to his little assortments and shoved them back into his pockets.
His first thought was to go to his brother, and thats what he did.
He approached the classrooms door and burst on in screaming "EDDIE! EDDIE! COME NOW!"
Ms.Lee jumped up squeeling "Pervert!" She landed in the arms of one of the class mates.
Ms.Clay walked up furiosly towards Henry "Why the devil are you screaming!?"
Henry shoved his hand into his pocket and pulled out the key, and his brother leaped out of his chair "I just remembered we have an appointment with our doctor. Sorry for the late notice Ms.Clay!"
They ran down the hall towards the entrance doors huffing and puffing "What's wrong Henry?!" "I will show you whats wrong!"
They got outside and Henry pointed up at the flag pole.
Eddie followed the imaginary path and gasped in horror to see the vice principal impaled on the flag pole.
But that wasn't the worst of it, in the sky written in blood were the words "I told you that you would regret ever killing me!"
Henry grasped a hold of his chest and opened his palm.
The key was beating that same pulse he had experiacned as he went to school. But it was worse this time, he started to hear a voice.
"Use the key on the manor and set me free!"
Eddie looked at his brother with worry and said "Whats wrong brother?"
"It's him...I can hear his cold voice. Its telling me to go to the manor."
Chapter Four: The Mansion
Eddie looked at his brother with a perplexed look, wondering what on Earth he was talking about "his voice." No one was around them, only the wind and trees. He opened his mouth to ask the question but his brother raised his hand, closed his eyes, and bit down on his lip.
Eddie noticed something that he hadn't noticed before. There were marks in the palms of Henrys hands. The same marks as Jesus when he was crucified.
He backed up in concern to how those marks got there, and why they were there. Had it been another message from the grave, or was it a sign of hope and justice?
Well what ever it was, it gave Eddie the shivers.
Henry slowly opened his eyes, which were glazed with the light of the sun reflecting off his lens. A strand of hair fell loosely infront of his eye, and he pushed it aside with his index finger.
His fore head sweaty, breath heavy, and clothes soaked in his own sweat. But sweat wasn't the only thing to soak his clothes and fore head, blood began to seep from every orifice of his body.
Eddie hurried to his brothers side, and threw his hand into all his pockets and fished out the skeleton key with haste.
Steam began to emit from his body, and Henry began to shake fiercely, eyes rolled back in his head, fists clenched, and voice trembling as he tried to say "Ed...Edd...Eddie!"
Eddie leaped back as his brother shook violently, calling him in a troubled voice.
He than fell to the ground, shaking ceased, and all went silent.
Eddie shook himself, trying to make sure this wasn't a dream, then rushed to his brothers side, knelt down and laid his ear on his chest.
The sound of his heart beat emitted loudly from his bodies chamber. A sign of life and a sign of hope for the little brother as he grabbed a hold of his arm and heaved him up onto his feet and steadied him.
Henry swayed back and forth, than came to a gentle stop as he blinked in confusion at to what just happened to him. This was like a dream people have, they wake up and know it was a dream, but really aren't too sure if it was.
"Ed...Eddie?" His voice was shakey and quiet.
His brother threw his arm around his shoulder and began to support him as he walked him towards the grounded skeleton key.
As he cautiously got up, he looked at his weary brother and said "You weren't yourself Henry..."
Henry shook his head, and began to rub his eyes, trying to wake himself from this dream that he thought he was having. But this was no dream, this was his reality, wheather he liked it or not.
"What happened to me Eddie? You looked frightend."
Eddie pierced his lips together, and tears ran down the side of his cheeks as to what he was about to tell his brother.
"You were under a trance. You had marks on the palms of your hands, and than you began to have a seizure, than there was blood..."
His words began to choke with tears and long winded gasps, he couldn't finish, he just witnessed his brother come close to death.
Henrys eyes closed, a smile formed on his face, and tears ran down his face "Little brother of mine, seeing your tears touches my dark heart. You care for me even if I am a jack ass to you..."
Eddie walked Henry to the side walk and placed him down carefully.
"Well are we going to go to the Manor?"
This was said with such bravery and courage that it would seem as though Eddie faced fear head on when he saw his brother overwhelmed by the powers of evil.
Henry took a second to think, thumb and index finger placed on his chin, eyes wandering back and forth through his mind and lips pinched together.
He nodded "We go now..."
They walked down the leaf littered streets towards the evil of town, in hope of an answer to all of the happenings.
As they approached the house, a shroud of darkness crepted over them, and it began to pour the tears of god from the heavens above as they entered the gates of the horror the had forever haunted the town.
They scaled the hill of the yard, towards the porch of the Manor with caution as though they were intruding on private property.
As Eddie came to the door, he placed his hand in his pocket and fished the key out.
He took a moment to glance at his brother who was staring at the vines that scaled the pillars, and smiled.
As he inserted the key, his hand sprung inwards as though it were burnt. He let out a small cry, and began to blow air on his skin.
The key began to turn on its own, and the door opened with such force that the boys were sucked inward as though a enormous vacuumm cleaner was turned on.
The door slammed behind them, and dust fell from above their heads.
As they got up and dusted their clothes off, they scanned the room.
The entrance was a Old Victorian style room, with a chandelier hanging from the cealing just above a red gold trimmed carpeted stair case in the middle of the room, which forked at the top.
The room was cluttered with old fashioned oak chairs and tables.
One of the tables suppourted an old record player, which caught Henry's eye, and seemed to call him over.
As though back in a trance, he slowly walked towards the record player as his brother walked around the room, gliding his finger across the dusty tables and chair heads.
Henry began to caress the box with exhilaration as though it were something he had never seen before.
The needle of the player came down and touched the record, and it began to spin.
Sounds emitted from the player, it could be described as Church Organs, a very dark and depressing sound to the ears.
A wide smile formed on his faced, and he glanced to his left towards his brother.
Eddie had his hand clasped on a deformed door-knob and was beginning to turn it when Henry said "Eddie, can you hear the music?"
The door was forced opened by the other side, and something from behind the entrance let out a hollar, blowing Eddie backwards.
The Mansion began to shake, particles of dust falling from the cealing, floor boards moving up and down in wave like patterns. The walls began to come outward, they began to form a face of a wooden beast.
The beast of wood let out a shriek, spewing out a cloud of saw dust and maggots.
Then from the floor boards, it formed a mishapened arm with large claw like hands.
It brought its arm foward and dug into the floor boards, and began to drag itself across.
As it moved it opened its mouth to reavel jagged teeth like fangs.
Eddie sprung to his feet in fear and called out to his brother for help "Henry!"
Henry awoke from his trance and leaped back as he saw that the house made itself into some sort of monster.
"What did you do Eddie!?"
As he ran towards his brother, the floor boards began to collapse.
His foot fell through the floor, and soon his body did too.
He grabbed a hold of a plank of wood that protruded from the floor, and began to lift himself up, but lost his grip and plunged down into the darkness below.
Eddie ran over to the hole, still with the beast on his heels, and gazed down into the darkness.
"Henry are you all right!?"
Nothing, but than a while later an echo "I think so!"
Relief swept across him, but then it was fear as he was hauled down by the ankle.
The monster grasped a hold of Eddies left ankle and was beginning to pull him towards his meat eatter mouth.
Eddie grasped a hold of the floor boards, trying to further stop himself by being dragged into his wooden grave.
His fingernails ripped off, blood ran down his finger tips and onto the floor boards, tears ran down his cheeks as he looked helplessy behind him to see his own demise.
He began to sway his arms out infront of him, insearch of a light switch, or even a cord.
His hand swatted something in the air, he swung his hand again and grasped a hold of a cord and jerked it downwards.
Light lit the room in a warm glow, to reveal a cement basement with old wine shelves. A door stood on the far side of the room, and it emitted a scent of mold.
With curiousity he headed towards that door and grabbed a hold of the golden knob and began to turn it.
The monster grinded on his thighs, crunching away at his bone, staining its teeth with blood as he devoured him whole.
The door opened, and led into a small square room full of hooks and naked bodies.
The corpses were all rotting flesh, the stench of death filled the room, and the maggots ate their way in and out of the lifeless skulls.
Henry began to gag, and headed towards a door with great haste, and opened it to find himself in a small square room scented with Cinnamon.
At the far end of the room was a small red blanket and a goblet.
Henry proceeded towards the goblet and knelt down, and as he did he heard laughter echo throughout the room.
He glanced over his shoulder to see Herbert Lanley standing behind him, laughing at him.
He was burnt badly, facial features gone, only he stood five foot eleven.
"I told them they would ever regret killing me! I told them!"
He took out a bloody cleaver and walked towards Henry, making him back into the wall behind him in fear.
Sweat fell from his forehead as the image of Herbert Lanley reflected in his eye.
A flame outlined Lanley as he cornered Henry "I told them!"
Henry slowly scurried down to the ground, hands going down the wall as he went.
He raised his cleaver and lobbed off his head, the door bursted open and all the corpses flooded in and began to feast on his corpse, tearing away at his fresh flesh, and eatting his bones.
They say that when you walk by the Blackened Mansion that you can still hear the screams of Henry and Eddie Dean emitting from within the Manor.
