mutsy Says:
this is a very interesting pose... if you want to be more anatomically correct, i would suggest looking at some references. but if you're going for a more abstract feel, this is perfect. but i really like the emotion that can be felt with this piece. so nice job :)!
Haxx Says:
Very interesting pose..*coughs*

I love the colors, maybe you clean up the OLs a bit,
but anything else, looks perfect too me
i'm sure, I couldn't draw such stuff. O.o
Hm maybe you add a hot chick that does a blowjob..
oh man, I'm a perv, excuse me
StupidGit Says:
I agree with the above post~
Must be a hawt guy...
Except that chick's are unacceptable.
Very nice work~ can't wait to see it finished!

Oh god, that's powerful, masclunine.
I love it. If I didnt live with my grandma of 80, and you sold that as a print, i'd buy it and hang it up.
that's too cool, the hard work shows!

First off, wonderful colors. Especially for the lineart that you have there. That's not to say it isn't good lineart, and it does capture a lovely frame. Since you asked for some pointers...
Maybe you don't need to add lineart to it, and it can be taken care of through the subtlety of just shading. Depending on the build you want, you don't even have to do anything with but add a little light shading to make out the centerline. It'd also be useful to differentiate the pectorals.
Awesome thus far, a great job on the style. The stroke marks are superb. Can't wait to see whatcha have in store for it. By the by, genitalia wouldn't hurt too bad to the overall image.
krampenjr Says:
fantastic pose! the selective linework draws my eyes up and down the figure and doesn't settle anywhere, that's a nice effect. the shading adds to it nicely.
i'm not going to nitpick about the physical accuracy of your character, because i think the style supercedes it. but if you want to make it more accurate, you could always study anatomy books (i'd suggest any of the Dynamic Anatomy books and The New Atlas of Human Anatomy. *shrug* they worked for me.)and practice sketching real people. as far as genetalia goes: i wouldn't have even catagorized this as mature, because there's nothing to see. does there have to be a penis if there aren't any hands, either? the way you've presented this stylistically, i don't think it has to be there.
you've chose a nice color for this piece. the yellow exudes anxiousness, accented by the angles of the joints, but soothed by the flow of lines on the torso and legs.
overall, i think this is a great piece. the only thing i might have done is add some subtle shadow splotching in the background to break it up some. but if that direct diagonal line is what you where aiming for, then don't worry about it. i like this piece alot, keep it up!
