Elemental Spirits:Chapter one
Chapter One
Takara Meets Mami
Takara started to head home from her favorite place to be,a card and manga store. She had a bag with five more mangas to add to her already huge collection along with a few booster card packs.
"Miss, please come here,"called a voice from the alley way,It sounded like a woman's voice, though Takara wasn't completely sure. She looks around and sees that no one else was near. She then slowly and causiously walks into the alley towards the voice.
"Don't be scared miss,"said the voice again.Takara looks around the alley seeing no one.I must be hearing things, she though to herself. There's no one here after all.
Takara turns around and starts to head out of the alley.
"Stop!!!"yelled the voice with a ferious tone.Takara stopped and quickly turned around.
"Who's there?!"asked Takara, who still saw no one. There was no answer. She sighed heavily and looked at the ground.A look of curiousity appeared on her face at what she saw;a necklace with a glowing white jewel in the shape of a small sphere on it.She reached her hand down and picked it up.The jewel stopped glowing the moment she picked it up and now started to turn see through.
"What the?!?!"she exclaimed as she watched it slowly became see through,"This is one weird jewel."
She looks around one last time then looks back at the necklace. She puts the necklace into her bag and heads out of the alley. She then heads on home.
When Takara got home, she found her mother making dinner.
"Hey mom,"said Takara as she walked over to the kitchen where her mother was.
"Hello Takara,"sighed her mother,"You went to that comic store again, didn't you?"
Takara nodded,"Yes mom.And it's a manga store,not a comic store."
Her mother sighs again,"What's the difference?"
"Mangas are from Japan and comics are from America.Plus in comics the heros are are always so buff.I mean their muscles are huge. While in mangas they're more beleiveable."
"And these mangas also have a lot of violence, blood, gore, swearing, and are overly dramatic,"added her mother with a smirk on her face.Takara rolls her eyes.
"That's what you say about animes too."
"Yeah I know.So will you be eating in your room again?"
"I don't dine with people who say that animes and mangas are overly dramatic!"
"Oh okay,"said her mother as she handed Takara a plate of food,"Here you go then."
Takara starts to reach for the plate. Her mother quickly gets it out of her daughter's reach.Takara sighs,"Thanks you, mother."
"Good girl,"said her mother as she put the plate back into her reach.Takara glares at her mother, takes the plate, and heads off to her room.
When she gets to her room,Takara sits down, places her bag next to her,and starts to eat her dinner. The jewel starts to glow white again and the glow showed through the bag.
"Hmm??"said Takara as she stopped eating and looks at the bag.She then placed her plate on the night stand next to her bed, reached into the bac,and tooks out the necklace. She looks at the jewel on the necklace out of curiousity,"I wonder why it's glowing again."
"Hello,"came a voice from the glowing jewel.Takara soon reconized it as the voice she heard in the alley.
"He-hello??"said Takara,kind of scared.
"With whom may I ask am I speaking with?"
"Ta-Takara..."
"Tatakara?"
"No,it's just Takara."
"Oh okay,Takara."
"Who are you?"
"My name is Mami."
"Okay,Mami."
Suddenly, there is a blinding white light coming from the jewel and, when Takara decides that it's safe to open her eyes, she sees a woman with blonde hair that went to her shoulders and brownish-red eyes. She also wore a green, strapless dress that went to mid thigh, purple baggy pants, and a see through blue clothe that covered her face from her nose down.Takara blinks,"Who...who are you?"
The woman looked at her,"Like I said before my name is Mami."

Lord Welshi Says:
I'd advise being a little more careful when you proofread your work. I noticed that you switch from past tense to present tense, e.g."Hmm??"said Takara as she stopped eating and looks at the bag' = this sentence has 2 past tense verbs, and one present tense. Try to decide which one to stick with, and keep writing in that tense.
Keep writing! ^.^
