Nothing lasts forever

Is there Chance at happiness?
Will it ever come?
Maybe for a little while
Once it begins its done.
Never long enough does the joy last
Only a faded memory
From the long and distant past
Parents divorce
Friends move
People don't approve of who you love
People can't accept things.
What they don't know can't hurt them...
But it can hurt you.
Why is there happiness,
A slim chance at light?
thats clouded over into an everlasting night.
Is there chance at happiness?
Only for awhile.
All thats left is false hope
And a phony smile
But don't worry, another chance will come
But remember once it starts
Again it will be done.
