Right..
It's Sonic looking oh so cartoony! The SegaSonic arcade sprites have always been my favorite, because they're the most cartoony and expressive of the Sonic sprites. A year or so back I did a picture with Sonic,Ray and Mighty in this style and I wanted to do something similar to that. When I finished drawing the Mighty pose, I realized it didn't quite fit with Sonic's. So I'm breaking all 3 characters up into seperate pictures, so here's the first.
I tried to get the backround to look like the stage Desert Dodge in the game, and I think it fairly does. The stuff on the bottom of the picture were meant to make it look like the game. The little Sonic head is from an older picture of mine.
Now quite sure what Sonic's is starring at there, but it's freaking him...
