Its been a long long time since I have uploaded something to sheezyart. I'm going to start uploading everything I do from now on so you can see just what I've been up to.
When I was drawing up some ships to this game I was creating I noticed my art skills had taken a massive dive since I took a nine months hiatus. Not to mention I also migrated from pen and paper to tablet. You wouldn't think there'd be much different but I found it difficult coordinating my hand to what's on my screen.
I decided I'd start up a small gag comic involving most of the characters of my game so I could practice them and refine my art over the coming year. Well, mid way through a new idea popped into my head about a possible serious comic. I switched over and sketched it from there.
The style the preview is drawn in will not be what the rest of the entire comic will be drawn like. I just felt that the white on black feeling presents mysteriousness if not a form of "yesterday" feeling. So no, next comic will be proper white on black. A few panels seemed rushed as well, this is mainly because it was done at night time and I had to take off, and I didn't have a reference image for most of the things I used, example the horses and the horsemen. I can't draw animals for shit, so that's something to work for

;
The second part may come later, tomorrow or next year, not entirely sure.
EDIT:
Made a few edits. First off the dialog has changed so it is more readable and more understandable. I also altered the bottom of the page because it was a rush job. Now it isn't.

odd... no comments on such a neat "peice"
I generally like the art, a few panels feel very rushed though. (understandable from your discription)
I will wait to see more!

Seems like an intersting idea but I have to say, I'm releaved the next will be standard black on white as I found the white on black with your quick scribbles...was really hard to see. The middle panels had me totally lost on first glimps in what the hell was going on, which really takes away from any story telling when you have to stop and think.
I have to say though, despite unclarity, it dose have my attention and interest to want to read more.

I have no idea what's happening! AWESOME!
RaptorShadow Says:
As per the above positive comments. Veeeery nice.

Look forward to it, hope you try to let your drawings be clearer in future though. If the person can't see/tell what it is, it's like insulting someone indirectly.
It took my third try to realise those are the four horsemen...
...Nice

interesting piece really. I like the scratchboard look to it.

Though I seem to be the opposite of you..I draw animals better than humans

Good to see you're getting back to drawing. And this preview comic does work well as a starter. The white on black does work well as you said to give an air of mystery, but its sketchness also adds a view of it like a memory.

Even though this comment is uber late...I'm happy to see you drawing again. Can't wait see more. :)
