stalking of coal
Stalking of coal
Long long ago, at the age of just nine, I was a bad little kid, during that time.
I argued with dad, and yelled at my mother, I could not get along with my sister or brother.
Mean spirited and crass at only my hight, I picked on other kids I started the fights.
They told me of Santa and that I should take heed, their would be coal in my stalking, for all my misdeeds.
My time flew by fast as I grew year to year, I took many habits I did not adhere.
Not to the warnings nor to confliction. I was homeless by twenty, and had an addiction.
I lived in the dirt and lived in the grime, but stayed in the shelters from time to time.
Within that providing within that estate, they tried to cheer me up, forget my mistake.
They set up a stalking, I'd not seen in awhile, for a minute or two I actually smiled.
Yet in the morning you see, it was the same as before, I got coal in my stalking and nothing more.
I tightened my fist, I was quit upset, what a smack in the face, I explained on the steps.
I stared at the lump for a rather long time, then came to realize it truly was mine.
It would keep me warm for only some hours, I'd feel like a king, whom had all the power.
Coming right out from all these delusions, I shook my head of such an illusion.
I sat strait up and saw the grim truth, I had to change something, no matter my loot.
I'd rise from the bottom, and strait to the top, coal was the awenser, and doubt it I'd not.
I cleaned up my person, and streightend my act. I got into college, business in-fact.
I would gain the coal market, I would own all the stalks, I would keep on pushing no matter the stops.
By the age of late forties I had gained the whole process, I took all the mines, I had not any losses.
No more coal for the kids, with such bad behavior, I would stop dear Chris cringle, I would be their Christmas saver.
At first it was great, I had no bad conclusions, but that soon ended, their where many intrusions.
I saw how they acted I saw it so clear, was that once me, did I stir up such tears.
They where horrible beasts, such monsters its true, did the taking of coal cause such a brew.
I would have to act now, or the future would go, I would not play around, I would not give a show.
I would give up a cut I'd give it away, dear Santa would get it and I'd save the day.
No rewards I would get, no recondition received, I would do it for all, and I'd truly be pleased.
Merry Christmas to everyone, and remember this story, the coal in your stalking, you should not be ignoring.
