note from artist: not really sure about the amount of light I used in the face. I think his nose looks too bright and kinda ruins it.

nice work! i think the light is fine, it all looks very natural (supernatural? surreal? appropriate!) and comes off as sort of surean and little scarey with a powerful sense of presence.

Honestly I like the amount of light you used. Gives him a rather angellic look and provides a good contrast to his hair.

I'm going to echo what others have said and say that I think the amount of light is appropriate. I'm going to repeat what I said before through PM: I love the colors that you've used. I find it interesting that we produced two completely different things using the same model, too.

I really like the lighting on this. The use of the blue eyes against everything else, since they seem to be warmish tints make them stand out more. The hair is awesome too, it looks really nice.
