Done with mouse in The Gimp (Traditional sketch and custom brushes) Next Project: "Kimmerz"
Yeah, the hair is creppy, but I didn't want it to be detailed or realistic. Took me around 3 hours
Wanted the face to be "hard" and not candy-like, don't know if I got it.
Just a quick study =)

It comes across and wiser... like something of an elder. It is nice to see something not so perfect in that sense. The hard worked well in the wise sense. Well how I see it.

hmm, sexy, has something sinister on his face, I think you got it :) the hair is framing the evil side a bit due the white. Purple is a warm colour, I think cooler colours would bring the evil touch more out than the purple.
But hey, what I'm talking about, I think you gave him a tint of evil, you can find it and I really love this, the hairstyle the face. Can't wait to see the result of this.
