This relatively small breed of unicorn grows a second bladed horn as it ages. These are used to mark their territory with scrapes on rocks and trees, and they sometimes use it to defend themselves from preditors such as wolves and bears when desperate.
Their coloring varies with genetics, but only in shades of green. The fur on their tales is as long as most horses, and only adult males grow beards.
They usually give birth to one young at a time, and young are looked after for 1-2 years before they wander away from their mother. Some males help to look after their offspring. These tend to be the older, more experienced males, while the younger ones are still learning about ways to survive.
Their territory includes evergreen forests in mid-northern Canada, and some indigeonous forests in the spring/summer. They are being continuously pushed northward by their intense fear of humans. While their fur is short for northern creatures, the forests generally do enough to keep them warm.
Well, the anatomy's probably really off because I didn't reference this the way you should. I used that picture for the background because it's the only one I have of a forest with the right angle of light.

Well, that's an interesting take on unicorns!
And how was this done?

Really, really love the manes. Always a good decision to apply a smudge tool.
