When I started listening to the song, I thought "ooh! This'll lead to a good main melody!"
But then the song never delivered the sweet, sweet melody. All the song was was a quiet flute and a piano. It was nice, but repetitive and weak. It needs support from other instruments, like how friends support each other. It would strengthen the meaning and emotion of the song.
I would love to hear a refurnished version of this song. Work, experiment, and work some more!
I agree with mudbuck's comment: this song is pleasant, and has great potential, but without some other 70's-sounding instruments to back your 70's-sounding keyboard, it's weak. I don't remember the 70's very well, but I'm sure they had a bunch of weird instruments back then that could provide some really good harmony with that keyboard. Also, I don't know where mudbuck heard the flute from, either. I think his ears are drunk from listening to so many WIP's of my most recent song. Anyhow, I hope you take these criticisms and use them to improve your composing abilities. :)

I think mudbuck has a good point. but I don't get where he heard the flute part of what he said. There isn't any flute at all the whole song long.
