Late at night the city sleeps
It's time to come and play
The Carnival shall open now
Please come, enjoy your stay

The lights will shine,
The stands will open
Calling out to you
And I will wait, a smiling face
As the band stirkes up and plays

Join me on the merry-go-round
Pick your mount and go
Up and down, up and down
Round and round we go

Drink and dance, it's time for fun
And now, for your surprise
The freaks are here, come and see
The monster of your lies

The shouts and screams
Will all resound
Inside this fantasy
And I will wait, a smiling face
Beside my merry-go-round

Join me on the merry-go-round

Behold the animal inside

Interesting piece. THe one suggestion I have is to write

"Up and down and up and down." as opposed to "Up and down,up and down."

For some reason, I think it flows better, even though it breaks a grammatical rule.Just me as a writer though. Either way, it's your piece, do as you will with it.
