Someone once told me I had a knack for trees. While I don't want to judge that, I can surely agree on that I do love to draw and paint stuff with trees.
Whether I'm good at it or not, the sky and trees/plants are always very soothing and also fun to do, maybe because it's something so ordinary and plain, yet so full of possibilities.
Anyway. This is a roughly 2-hour-painting, dabbling into Corel Painter IX (yes, I finally upgraded from Procreate Painter 7) experimenting with the Oil Pastells tool, which is quite a powerful instrument as far as I can tell by now.
No reference used.
EDIT: W00t, whoa, my third feature here on Sheezy already.
Thanks to the cast for featuring and the rest of you for looking!

This is realy skill right there. I never tried just painting a tree. It doesn't look to hard acturally. Great job though! It's amazing! :)

Congratulations on the Featured Art!

I especially love the one that looks like a white cedar--I used to live somewhere where we had a lot of those.

I also love drawing trees. =)
Only, I use ink because colours hate me and they don't have leaves and they aren't pretty.
